We will all remember the clever Matt Lucas parody of Boris Johnson “Don’t go to work, go to work. Don’t take public transport, go to work, don’t go to work, stay indoors. If you can work from home, go to work, don’t go to work, go outside, don’t go outside…”
That was such a great example of chaotic decision making and failure to communicate!!!
Does making decisions give you anxiety? No matter what you decide to do, you are bothered by internal anguish? Are you afraid you will make the wrong decision?
Have you lost a bit of your focus this past 12 months? How will you now cope with effective decision making?
Just stop and think about how many decisions you make in a day. What to eat, what to wear, what to buy, what to say, what’s the next boxset?
Maybe this week perhaps a key decision could be: “is it safe for our children to go back to school?”
In its simplest sense, decision-making is the act of choosing between two or more courses of action.
What would be your key points to enable good decision making?
One of the most effective decision-making strategies is to keep an eye on your goal.
Do you consider the consequences?
Do you evaluate your decision?
Furthermore, how do you make a difficult decision in life? What happens if you feel regret?
Want to talk about it?
